On September 4 to 5, 2016, G20 Summit will be held in Hangzhou, China. The styrene unit involved in this period will be more affected.
Coinciding with the annual maintenance conventionally conducted by Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Company Limited, the stop of the unit will be longer than one month. Due to the impact from the stop or load decreasing of the styrene unit, the pure benzene futures market in late August will run the partial empty.
