GYIE Cross-border becomes the founding member of Overseas Chinese Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation League

June 13, the Overseas Chinese Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation League was jointly founded at the 2nd World Overseas Chinese Industrial & Commercial conference by enterprises including China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS), China Overseas Chineses Entrepreneurs Association (COCEA), Shanghai GYIE Cross-border E-commerce Co., Ltd., Tmall.HK, Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (SIIC), etc. from Cross-border E-commerce 50 Forum, which was aimed at assist overseas Chinese in the construction of cross-border e-commerce and promoting the economic exchanges along the Belt & Road Initiative. GYIE Cross-border CEO Ju Aiwei was invited to attend the conference.

All founding members of the said league think that cross-border e-commerce can play a leading role in the promoting of B&R Initiative and the cooperation with the countries along the B&R Initiative with its low cost, high-efficiency, short circle, employment promotion features. As most of the overseas Chinese are engaged in international trade or related investment and operation business in countries along the B&R Initiative, they have special advantages to conduct cross-border e-commerce business as they have local resources and are familiar with Chinese culture and national conditions. 
Xu Yousheng, Party Secretary and vice director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of The State Council, pointed out that, it was an important initiative to found the Overseas Chinese Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation League in the information era to make full play of Chinese merchants' traditional advantages in the implementation of B&R Initiative. Xu also stressed that, with the founding of this league, overseas Chinese could high-efficiently cooperate with domestic e-commerce enterprises with each other's advantages to establish a whole industry chain international trade network so as to advance the transformation and upgrading of traditional trading mode.

Meanwhile, the Overseas Merchants and Cross-border E-commerce Development Forum was held by the newly founded Overseas Chinese Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation League, which attracted many worldwide overseas merchants and domestic cross-border e-commerce enterprises including GYIE Cross-border, Alibaba, etc., to jointly discuss the topics covering new cross-border e-commerce ecosystem, co-building of overseas warehousing, cross-border e-commerce cooperation, etc.. Many participating overseas merchants said that, China's cross-border e-commerce industry had been playing an leading role in the world, and they wished to realized industry transformation and upgrading in countries along the B&R Initiative by promoting the cooperation between overseas Chinese merchants and domestic enterprises with the aim at creating a whole cross-border e-commerce industrial chain and new world trade rules in Internet era. 
The first batch 39 member enterprises of the Overseas Chinese Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation League were formed by ten domestic leading enterprises and 29 overseas Chinese enterprises. The main work of the League was to cultivate cross-border talents, assist the overseas Chinese merchants in business development, establish sharing mechanism for the supply and distribution channels, conduct cooperation in international logistics and overseas warehousing, strengthen industrial research, etc..
